The Alpha and Omega
The Sermon on the Mount, Jesus gives seven commandments:
1. The poor in spirit,
2. A person whose heart is hunger and thirst for righteousness,
3. The meek,
4. Those who mourn,
5. The pure in heart,
6. The peacemakers,
7. A person who is will to be persecuted for righteousness.
If we love Jesus wholeheartedly, we certainly would like to live according to his words. God’s word is the most precious jewelry to our souls. When God’s word is in our hearts, his word creates a duty for us to live accordingly. Our sensual organs gather information spontaneously and we react instantly by how we perceived in this world. If we are responding base on our perception only, we may be easily deceived by the Satan’s schemes.
For that reason, God’s word must reside in our hearts in order to correctly discern his will for our lives. His wills aways have been manifested through the people in his world.
Consequently, it is so vital to keep God’s words not only in our hearts but also in our actions, because our bodies always want to stay in its own boundaries and react by its own perceptions. God trains us everyday by renewing our misperceptions views of other people in the mental state of our minds through Christ who lives in the hearts of his people who diligently live by his word.
